Pastor Brian’s mes­sage this week­end really inspired me to be much more pur­pose­ful with my gen­eros­ity. An act of gen­eros­ity or a word of encour­age­ment at the right time can lift spir­its and empower another per­son to live the call on their life. 
I’ve decided to set some weekly goals in terms of my encouragement:

Mid last year arti­cles started pop­ping up on news and social net­work­ing sites (such as digg) about athe­ist groups spend­ing vast sums of money pro­mot­ing that “There is prob­a­bly no God. Now stop wor­ry­ing and enjoy your life”. Sup­port­ers of the adver­tis­ing cam­paign stat­ing that every­one has a right to free­dom of speech, and that God has had his mes­sages plas­tered all over front-lawn signs of churches for centuries.

Tonight was the first time i directed at pow­er­house (also the first time direct­ing in the con­ven­tion cen­tre), and i must say it was amaz­ing. Any of you who were there, i would love to hear some feed­back.

Its been a hec­tic few weeks, con­fer­ence fin­ished just over a week ago now. 25000 del­e­gates, 40000 wor­ship­pers each night, and 4500 vol­un­teers. Thats where i fit — vol­un­teer. I had the most amaz­ing week work­ing with the edi­tors here at Hill­song.
